Chamars (tanners) are the first scientists in the world

चमार(चर्मकार) विश्व के पहले वैज्ञानिक हैं, वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से शोध अध्ययन कर औजार बनाए, उन औज़रों से मरे हुए जनवार जैसे गाय भैंस के शव से खाल छीलने उतारने की पद्धति विकसित की !*

*चमड़ा छीलना हुनर है काबिलियत है, बिना छेद बिना कटे पुरे चमड़े को छीलना कोई ग्रंथ लिखने जैसा आसान काम नही है !*

*चमार समुदाय ने खाल को चमड़े में और चमड़े को वस्तुओं में बदलने की पूरी प्रक्रिया का विकास अविष्कार किया !*

*खाल को चमड़े में बदलने की पूरी प्रक्रिया को 15 दिन का समय लगता, खाल उतारना उसे नमक और किसी पेड़ की छाल के रासायनिक तत्व से भिगोना और अन्य चार चरणों को पार करना इत्यादि जैसी वैज्ञानिक दृष्टि शामिल थी,*

*जब जाकर खाल कड़ी होकर चमड़े में बदल जाती, फिर इस चमड़ों से कपड़े रस्सी थैले गोनी बाल्टियां बनती !*

*लोग दूर दराज सफर के वक़्त चमड़े के थैलियों में पीने का पानी ले जाते, कुएं से पानी निकालने के लिए छोटे चमड़े की बाल्टियों का उपयोग होता !*

*अनाज को चमड़ों की गोनियों में सुरक्षित घरों में रखा जाता, समाज की पूरी व्यवस्था अर्थव्यवस्था चमड़ों पर टिकी थी !*

*चर्मकार कबीले को पूरे सम्मान की नज़र से देखा जाता, चर्मकार की नही अन्य हर कबीला जो उत्पादन श्रम कृषि मेहनत के कामो से जुड़ा था उन्हें सम्मान प्राप्त था !*

*यह तब की बात है ब्राह्मणों ने उस वक़्त तक पंजाब का दरिया पार नही किया था !*
